Today's card is my first of the season:
Materials:
- Graphic 45 Twas the Night before Christmas Collection
- Frantic Stamper Die Happy Holidays
- Red Grosgrain Ribbon
- White card stock for my card base (A2)
- Red Foil card stock
- I love Graphic 45 but sometimes have a hard time figuring out how to use the 12 x 12 papers, especially the ones with the large graphics on them. This is what I used for my card today.
- I decided that I wanted the Santa design on the front of my card and I wanted it to cover the whole front.
- I used glue stick and put glue over the front of my card.
- I laid it down carefully onto the back of the patterned paper (remembering which way the card opened!)
- I trimmed around my card. It came out really well.
- There is another paper in the collection that uses the poem so I cut a strip to help decorate the front of my card. There is a coordinating strip on the inside of my card also.
- I cut the greeting from foiled card stock, used mounting tape and added it to the lower right corner.
- I added the bow and had longer streamers which I made waves with and secured with glue dots.
Stay tuned for more Christmas card designs!
Lis
