CHERISH Card - A Variation: SING

I liked the template so much that I thought I would make a card for my dad.  Here is the variation that I made.

CHERISH

As I start thinking about the holidays and family, I am reminded to cherish each day.  I want to make each interaction count.  We don't know if an angry word will be the last thing our loved one hears from us.  So, I try to cherish each day with my family, even when I'm angry, even when things don't work out like I want them to.  I want my family to know I love them...no matter what.

The card I made today was from a Template Challenge at http://franticstamper.blogspot.com/.  Most Sundays a new card or scrapbook template is shown.  They are really nice and can jump start a sleeping muse!  I hope you stop in at the Frantic Stamper blog to take a peek!

Instead of a bow, I decided on a ribbon slide and tassel.  Lately I've been in a tassel mood again. Tassels are a great option, replacing bows, flowers and other embellishments.  I like their movement.  These tiny tassels are just the right size for any card. (My card below is 5 inches x 5 inches.) I purchase my tassels from an online company called Trim and Tassels.  I get the 1.5 inch size mini tassels.  They come in a variety of colors and are great accents as you can see..

Close Up!
This beautiful butterfly comes from K & Company of course!  They make the most beautiful victoriana embellishments!

Here is my orchid tassel.

I hope that you enjoyed today's card!  Stop by again for more inspiration!
