Celebrate the Little Things

 

This is a 6 x 6 card - white card base.  The technique I am using is a heart stencil with glitter texture paste for the hearts.  After I let it dry overnight, I added the Dazzles red holographic round stickers and the borders.

I chose to use a light red vellum that I cut into three banners.  I used my Xyron to add the glue to the back and then added to my card.  I added the white saying (Hot off the Press) and a couple of white stars tat came with the package.

Flower Collage

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday to you all!

Todays card is a collage card.  I had this little bag of papers and misc embellishments and I decided to make a card from the items.

 I had a lot of blues browns and purples so I decided to use a white card base and a purple foil card stock as the base mat. I added a torn paper look over the paper with the wood design.  There was some web ribbon that I cut in half lengthwise and layered the heart ribbon over that.

 

I really like buttons. They are easy to add and come in all kinds of colors and shapes.  I keep forgetting to add ribbon or paper to the little holes though - as I did again here.  Next time....!

The pink butterfly and the green faux-glass leaves are from Martha Stewart. (I just saw that one of my purple gems slipped off its flower.  The original is fixed!)

This button comes from Bo Bunny.  The holes were big enough that I felt compelled to fill them.  I tried to take off the button but it would have torn the paper so I added some Liquid Pearls.
