Washi Tape with Clock

Hi!  Well, everyone is really into washi tape but I don't see a lot of examples on the web so if you know of someone who is doing a lot with this wonderful tape, let me know and drop me a line!

As for me, I am experimenting and finding even more ways to use this beautiful tape (watch in a couple of weeks for a BIG surprise!)

For this card I just added diagonal lines of tapes. I didn't use a mat.  All you see here is the base card.

Don't you just love this clock sticker? It's from the Jolie's Boutique Parcel Line.

The beige tape is from Michaels - it's their own line (Remembrance I think).  Also, I did add the gold writing (a separate tape) on top of the "type" tape.

Come back next weekend for more washi tape ideas!

Washi Tape and Hearts

Today's card is a simple washi taped card with a center made of silver cardstock with a heart pattern.

The only rule I followed when picking out my tapes to make my card is that I alternated strong and light colors to give the card balance.  I chose mostly spring and pastel colors (except for the two black corners)

The tape is placed directly on the card base which is ivory cardstock.

Come back again for some more Washi Tape ideas!

Bobie's Washi Tape Card

My friend Bobbie and I are in a Washi Tape phase (along with lots of others too!)  We can't seem to get enough of this paper tape!  Thank goodness there are some companies out there that are newly making some colorful designs!

Bobbie sent me a card and I wanted to share it with you.

Thinking of You...

I really like her use of color!

Close Up!

Bobbie used black plastic pearls to accent her stamped sentiment.

Are you making any washi tape cards?  If you send a picture to me I will post it on my blog!

Hope to see your creative cards soon!
