It's Christmas!
by Lis WhitingToday's card uses a new favorite die from Frantic Stamper - the ornament die! I can see using this die to create pretty three-dimensional ornaments for my tree this year too. I started off by die cutting my ornament out of green suede paper. (I'm really hooked on this specialty paper. It feels so soft and comes in many rich deep colors - my faves!). I decided to back my ornament with some silver glitter paper behind the cut outs only - and added a silver glitter paper topper also. My card base is plain white card stock. I covered the front of my card with a white patterned pearl paper (so pretty - it kind of looks like snowflakes). I used gold glitter border dazzles to "hang" my ornament on my card. I also had some small acrylic red buttons to add some more color to my card front. I cut out "Merry Christmas" in gold glitter also and attached everything to my card with glue stick or glue dots. I did attach my green suede ornament with foam tape. Hope you like this card and try it out. Thanks for stopping by!
