Precision Die Technique

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share this Precision Die technique (from Frantic Stamper) on my blog so that I could show all the pictures in a row.  This way you get a better idea of the process.  So, thanks for stopping over!

I used the precision dies for the largest and 2nd largest square.  I also have some Wacky Tack Tape which is basically a double sided tape but is removable.

I placed a piece of the tape on the back side of the smaller square.

I centered the smaller square inside the larger one.

Then I used my Cuttlebug and my white base and my B plates to cut out what you see below.

Here is the great part!  Do you see the embossed edges?  That came out along with my die cuts.  I didn't do anything extra.  I am showing the foil ones first because they are the easiest to see.

Here are some cardstock ones.  Its easier to see the embossing on the white one but both are embossed.

I also work with Spellbinder dies and use the rubber mat for embossing so this was a big surprise for me to see embossing on my squares.

Give it a try!  I am pretty sure it would work with any of the the Frantic Stamper Precision dies - like the rectangles for instance.

Good luck!

Lis
