I don't think we see enough fish on cards. These shimmery, glimmery shapes are well suited for cards and there are a number of stamps that have anything from life size to decorative designs to suit anyone's taste.
My big fish is a cardstock design from K & Company.
I started with an ivory card base in 5x5 inches. I created a mat of dark green and then lighter green with a 1/8 inch border. I used regular flower leaves as my seaweed. I mounted the fish onto my card with mounting tape to add a 3D effect. If you look, you will notice that there is a pattern on the green background. I used versa mark and a writing stamp to create a watermark to help represent the movement of water.
Close Up!
I used a green glitter pen to add glitter accents on the gills and all the fins. The pen allowed me to make fine or thick lines and create the effect that I wanted. The "bubbles" are actually Dew Drops in lime green.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my "fishy" card!
