A Toy Soldier Christmas Card

Hi everyone! I hope that you have all had a great weekend shopping and taking advantage of bargains! I've been having fun making Christmas Cards!

Today's card also has washi tape accents.

Close Up!

I just love the little red gem in the soldier's hat.  The toy soldier is made with serendipity paper and cut using a Tim Holtz Die from Sizzix.

I hope you enjoyed this weekend's washi tape accent Christmas Cards.  I hope to have more again.  I look forward to sharing more Christmas Card inspiration with you! Come back again!

It's a Washi Tape Christmas!

Hi everyone!
I wanted to devote some more time to washi tape and since we are now entering the Christmas season, I thought a few  Christmas cards with washi tape accents would be nice.

I call today's card "Irish Christmas". I didn't intend to make an Irish Christmas card. It just sort of ended up that way.

I started out with a plain white cardstock card base.  I added three strips of washi tape to the right side. THEN I embossed the top of my card.  I think the embossing makes the washi tape look like more a part of the card than tape on top of the card.

I added the embossed sentiment with mounting tape.

Close Up!

I really love this embossing folder with the little snowflakes.

Here you can get a good look at the washi tape and how well it embossed.
I hope you enjoyed this first card. I will have others this weekend!
