Hi everyone!
I wanted to devote some more time to washi tape and since we are now entering the Christmas season, I thought a few Christmas cards with washi tape accents would be nice.
I call today's card "Irish Christmas". I didn't intend to make an Irish Christmas card. It just sort of ended up that way.
I started out with a plain white cardstock card base. I added three strips of washi tape to the right side. THEN I embossed the top of my card. I think the embossing makes the washi tape look like more a part of the card than tape on top of the card.
I added the embossed sentiment with mounting tape.
Close Up!
I really love this embossing folder with the little snowflakes.
Here you can get a good look at the washi tape and how well it embossed.
I hope you enjoyed this first card. I will have others this weekend!
