Create Art

Hi and welcome!

Today's card uses a beautiful panel die and a panorama (?) die of Japan. (I liked this so much I made another card with it. See it at the end of the page.)

This is a standard A2 card made with black cardstock.

I believe that the panel die came from Frantic Stamper.  The clouds came from Amazon.  I dont remember where the other die came from.

I die cut the panel from red cardstock and adhered it to my card.  I die cut the Japanese scene from gold mirror card (Hunkdory - it;s SO shiny - great stuff).  I used foam squares to add height. I die cut the clouds from white pearl card.  The large one is glued to the card. The smaller one is adhered with foam squares.
The sentiment is from Chitchat Tim Holtz and is added with a foam strip.

I decided to use some washi tape around the border of my card.  I tried about 4 different ways before I settled on the one you see before you.

I'm always looking for a really rich deep black and found it!  I purchased from Kelly Paper the Neenah Classic Linen Epic Black Cover.  Its such a beautiful color and the linen texture gives it an elegant feel.  I've been using Epic Black for a while now. It's a great color.

Close Ups of the card:

Here are both cards together.

I hope that you enjoyed these cards today.  Thanks for stopping by,

Lis
