Ike passed away today. He was my handsome kitty for 11 years. Recently diagnosed with diabetes, he endured insulin injections and trips to the vet for blood tests. He became very sick this week and couldnt enjoy life the way he had before. I was by his side when he died.

Lis, I am so sorry to learn of Ike's passing. I know how much he meant to you. He was a good friend and companion, and you can take comfort in the knowledge that you gave him the best of care. I like all the pictures--the first one shows what a handsome cat he was, indeed.

Lis, I'm so very sorry about Ike. I truly know what you are going through right now coz I had to say goodbye to my precious Whiskers in 2007 but it still just feels like yesterday. Whiskers was 11 years old too and he was my baby boy and also my constant companion and I truly miss him beyond words. Ike was a beautiful kitty and just remember that you cared for him the best you could and gave him a loving home. You made Ike a very happy kitty and he will always love you! Domino Hugs! Leigh
