A Green Halloween.....Card

Hi everyone! Ready for another Halloween card? I am! I've been loving the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells papers. Today's card is a collage card that I made using them.

I also used a couple of German Scrap pieces (the black cat, "Halloween" and the gold spiderweb). I have always loved these. They seem to be hard to find for me. I have a website now called Blumchen that carries some really nice pieces.

Here's a close up of the spider web. I added it to a corner using glue stick and then trimmed it. I used the trimmings for the rest of the card. (Believe me, you don't want to waste this beautiful stuff!)

The green holographic cardstock under the word Halloween is from Frantic Stamper. Its great to use for little accents or even a whole card.

A Drippy Halloween Card

Hi Everyone! I thought that I was done with Halloween cardmaking but I guess not! I have a couple more cards I want to share with you! Today's card is truly "drippy!"

I used a white card base and added an ivory glitter cardstock across the entire front of my card. Then I used black glitter card stock and a Frantic Stamper Drip Border Die.

To decorate, I used an image from one of the Authentique Halloween papers and some star embellishments from Tim Holtz (Advantus). I really like the stars because they are very dimensional.

To make my ribbon, I took some balck and some red (smaller width) and layered them.

Enjoy!

Simple and Cute Christmas Card

Hi! Let the Christmas Season begin for Christmas cardmaking! (I will still bring you a couple of Halloween cards I'm still making but....I'm in the mood for Christmas!)

Today's card is a fun little festive card (and my FIRST for the 2013 season!) I am overjoyed because last year I never seemed to be able to really get in the mood. I don't know why so I'm going to enjoy this year for sure!

I made this card using Frantic Stamper Christmas dies. The Merry Christmas word die looks superb using this red glossy card stock. I also used the tree broder but I used it at the top and then added some patterned paper from Bo Bunny. Fran also has a die with two sizes of Holly and a separate cluster of three berries.

Drink from the Cup.... a Halloween Card

Hi everyone! Yup, I'm still here! I'jut gotten over yet another bad cold. (And yes I got my flu shot as soon as I was well enough.) This year has really been tough for colds and viruses. Wow! I hope that you are all well!
Today's card is a quick little Halloween card using some of my new favorite dies from Frantic Stamper. I love this little cup. It is actually a set and comes with a wine bottle but I thought it would make a nice Halloween cup too.
I die cut the cup from black card stock and then again from red ripple holographic card stock. (Frantic stamper also carries this. It comes from Hot off the Press and its my new love!)
I cut out the center of the cup and the top with an xacto knife and then layered the red behind it. I cut the red stem and base off because it made it easier to glue it all together (less to line up you know). I added green Dazzles for the "bubbles". Any kind of scary background Halloween paper can be used for the card background.
