Leaf and Gold Dot Card

Hi and Happy Saturday!

For my second leaf motif card, I chose the following:

I have a similar style as the card from yesterday.  The leaves are one gold and one copper set behind a green plastic Chinese embellishment.   I added a few clear gems to the green embellishment.  I used two colors of ribbons for this card to help reflect the overall color scheme of green and gold.

One thing I also did was to take some Liquid Pearls in Gold and add dots of gold to my card.  The paper is from Graphic 45.

Close up!
Come back tomorrow for my third leaf motif card!

See ya!

One Embellishment...Many Looks. Leaf Motif Cards

Hello everyone!  Glad to have you here this fine Friday.  I have three cards to share with you over the next three days.

All three cards have a leaf embellishment added for three different looks. (My favorite is the third card...but you will have to wait until Sunday to see that one.)

Anyway, here goes!

The first card is a simple one to make.  Two leaves, a bow and a paper rose.  The two leaves include:
  • one in gold
  • one in purple outlined in gold
What makes this unique are the lavender gems I put on the purple leaf. They are unusual and a surprise.

The paper rose really adds some dimension here.

Close up!

See you tomorrow for the second card!
