Christmas Kitty

Today's card is made with Precision dies by Frantic Stamper.  I really like these dies!  Although squares have been done alot, I think these are a fresh take on thin dies.

The stamp is from Stampendous.  I love this little kitty with the santa hat on.  I colored the hat with gel pens and the cat with distress ink pens.

This ribbon is called crush.  It's a little like organza and rough silk...if that makes any sense!

This writing stamp I used is in old German Script.

Here is the inside of my card.

Come back again for more Christmas cards!

Snowflake Card

Today's card features pretty snowflakes punched in ivory cardstock layered over ivory card base.  I used some of the punches for a third layer and added pearls.

This is a better picture of the card with a better color image.

Close Up!

This is my little Christmas tree done in green foil.

A close up of my punchies.

The layers...

Thanks for stopping by!~

Precision Die Technique

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share this Precision Die technique (from Frantic Stamper) on my blog so that I could show all the pictures in a row.  This way you get a better idea of the process.  So, thanks for stopping over!

I used the precision dies for the largest and 2nd largest square.  I also have some Wacky Tack Tape which is basically a double sided tape but is removable.

I placed a piece of the tape on the back side of the smaller square.

I centered the smaller square inside the larger one.

Then I used my Cuttlebug and my white base and my B plates to cut out what you see below.

Here is the great part!  Do you see the embossed edges?  That came out along with my die cuts.  I didn't do anything extra.  I am showing the foil ones first because they are the easiest to see.

Here are some cardstock ones.  Its easier to see the embossing on the white one but both are embossed.

I also work with Spellbinder dies and use the rubber mat for embossing so this was a big surprise for me to see embossing on my squares.

Give it a try!  I am pretty sure it would work with any of the the Frantic Stamper Precision dies - like the rectangles for instance.

Good luck!
