AHOY! Card
I was feelling rather nautical this week and decided to make a card for my older sister. (She lives in New Yokr - upstate). Here is what I came up with. I think maybe I could have added some dark blue bakers twine. That would have been cute too.

I love the way my shell came out. The shell is a dimensional sticker by K&C. I added the gold detailing on top.
I added some of those sparkly holographic stickers you can get for coconuts in the palm tree.
Hope you enjoyed my card!

Collage Parisiene
I think we all have a fascination with all things French, all things Victorian and all things old fashioned. I think it's because they are at once mysterious, slightly familiar and very adventurous (well, at least I think so!)
My card today is called Collage Parisiene.
I started with an ivory base card. I took some white glossy and embossed it and then foiled the embossed parts woth gold. It has a distressed look, yes?
I was in a postal modd today so I added some stamps that I cut from scrapbook paper (Tim Holtz and Graphic 45) and added them to my card using mounting tape. The tag is from French General - Jolie's newest line (wow~!). And a green ribbon!
Close Up!
What is so cool about the tag is that the fleur de lis was already added! I love this olive green satin ribbon.
Here are two of the stamps I used.
Hope you enjoyed today's card.

Le Chat
Hi Everyone!
Today's card was a thank you card I made for a family member. I used some fabric paper. Yes, thats what I said, fabric paper. Actually its fabric that has been treated so that it can be cut or punched out like paper. Its really cool stuff. Unfortunately my stash is old so I dont think its around anymore.
I really like using bold patterns and colors.
Close Up!
I added a little green gem to kitty's bow!
I hope this card gives you a couple of ideas !

Play Together - A Steampunk & Tissue Tape Card
You know I can't stay away from gears too long, right? I love steampunk. It is the perfect blend of victoriana and industry. So, I thought I would make a card. Here it is!
I used a lot of tissue tape for this card. I started by taking strips of tape and covering my card front. I took another piece of cardstock and did the same thing. Then I punched out my gear pieces and outlined them in gold.
Unfortunately I found that when i put the gears on the card they didnt show up very well. So, I added some solid pieces on my card and placed the gears on that.
Close Up!
I am sure that you recognize Tim Holtz' ticket and tiny word (yes, he has a whole book of them that you can buy).
I actually punched the three holes in the gear, outlined the whole thing in gold and added the gems. It's mounted on a circle with mounting tape.
I love the way gears work together.
Hope you liked my steampunk card. See you again soon!
